Genshin pity calculator

Enter where you stand right now - pity counter, 50/50 situation and banner - plus the number of wishes you're willing to spend. You'll get the exact probability of walking away with your 5★, computed wish-by-wish with the documented rates (base 0.6%, soft pity from 74, hard pity 90) rather than a rough average.

Which banner?

Wishes since your last 5★ on this banner type (0–89). Find it in-game: open Wish History and count the pulls after your latest 5★.

Your 50/50 situation

“Lost last” = you lost a 50/50, pulled the guaranteed featured character, and are now on a fresh 50/50 again - Capturing Radiance can rescue it. “Guaranteed” = you lost a 50/50 recently and your next 5★ is the featured one, period.

160 primogems = 1 wish, so 80 wishes = 12,800 primogems.

How this Genshin pity calculator works

The engine computes P = 1 − ∏(1 − pi) wish by wish, where each pi is the documented rate for that wish number: 0.6% base on the character and standard banners, ramping up ~6 percentage points per wish from wish 74, and 100% at wish 90. The 50/50, guarantee and Capturing Radiance layers are resolved with an exact state-machine calculation - no simulation shortcuts on the numbers you're planning around.

The same engine, its test cases and every source (in-game Wish Details, the v5.0 announcement of Capturing Radiance and the one-fate-point Epitomized Path, plus community statistical analyses) are documented on the methodology page. Snapshot: October 2026

Pity calculator FAQ

Where do I find my current pity counter?

Genshin doesn't display it directly. Open the Wish History screen on the banner, find your most recent 5★, and count the wishes after it - that count is your pity counter. The history window covers six months, which is enough for any saving streak.

Why does the number change between banners?

Each banner type keeps its own pity counter. The weapon banner ramps sooner (soft pity ~63, hard pity 80) but its 5★ must also pass a 75/25 featured check - and your selected weapon is one of two featured picks, so a single 5★ is only 37.5% to be yours without a fate point.

Should I plan with Radiance on or off?

Radiance is official but small (~+5 points on a losing 50/50 streak). Leave it on for realistic expectations; switch it off when you want a conservative floor for saving decisions. The guarantee math never depends on it.
